Weddings are collaborations, and I'll tell you what I need from you and let you have lots of help and advice so you don't feel overwhelmed or lost. Most weddings happen without a hitch, and all have a fabulous day. But they're not always perfect, and they don't always go to plan. They can sometimes be a bit stressful, time slips and nerves kick in but rest assured, I'm here to help and guide you throughout the wedding.

Are you LGBTQ friendly?Absolutely! My pronouns are He/Him/His

What is your wedding photography style?About 90% of my work is photojournalism, capturing all those special moments as they happen, with minimal intrusion. The other 10% is the more traditional wedding photography style – getting those must-have formal shots and bridal portraits that are great for sharing with family. I have a laid back approach and go with the flow of your day, people watching and enjoying every moment as I document the emotion, happiness and fun of your wedding day celebrations.
-
What about family group shots?I understand that most couples like some form of group shots, and I will always discuss the must-have images with you list prior to your wedding day. Some couples want to have fun shots with props, and others prefer something more traditional – the choice is yours. With these more formal shots, I ask my couples to designate a groomsman or bridesmaid to be in charge of organising the groups for photos. This keeps things flowing and speeds up the process. I highly recommend trying to keep it around ten or below.
-
How many photos will we get? This is kind of a ‘how long is a piece of string’ type question, but to give you an idea the minimum is about 250 edited images but I will often provide many more. It all depends on how long I’m there for, whether or not you have a second photographer, how much is going on, how many group shots you require etc.
-
Will you give me all of the photos you take?If I were to edit all of the photos I take, you’d be waiting until your anniversary to get your photos and trust me, you don’t want every single photo! I do all the hard work of sorting through them, as there will be many of the same shot, some where people are blinking or which are just unflattering, some out of focus, test shots etc., so I take all those out and just leave you with the best ones. Believe me, this is a very time consuming process and I’m sure there are better ways you’d rather spend your free time than sorting through thousands of photographs. I then carefully select for editing the very best images and any that I know would be important to you, so when they are presented to you they beautifully tell the story of your day. I do aim to give you as many edited photos as I can and I will never deprive anyone of a beautiful photo, or restrict the number of images that I deliver based on a certain quota.

-
